For those who need or prefer virtual learning and seek a distance learning
MBA, the news is very good: there are 178 graduate schools that offer
accredited online degrees. But wait, are the schools or the programs accredited?
When you are paying for a distance learning MBA, are you paying to earn a valid
degree or buying a ten to twenty thousand dollar piece of paper?

To earn an MBA online, you only have to cough up the cash. But to use
that degree for future application (to high-end jobs, higher institutions, or

A degree mill, a business fronting as an accredited institution to rip off MBA
candidates by issuing fake degrees, will issue you a degree that will lead you
anywhere but to a higher-end job, higher institution, or reputable business
of your own. These fake distance learning MBA’s require, at the
maximum, or expect that
--you will be duped by their claims of accreditation and their linking directly
to an accreditation agency (which they have also fabricated)
--you will use cash (or a credit card) to prove your eligibility to the MBA
program, and that maybe you will submit a resume that they will use as the only
application criteria necessary for an advanced degree
--you will believe you can “learn” all you need to in 30 days or
less, when in real time the equivalent of the distance learning MBA takes anywhere
from 2-6 years to earn.
--you will pay in one lump sum for what legitimate institutions of higher education
charge in increments—per unit(s).
--you will understand and ignore the fact that they cannot be accounted for
by any accreditation agency.
But that was more bad than good news, wasn’t it? The value of a
distance learning MBA, as you likely know if you are reading this, is great.
And it can be had in a legitimate manner, one which is acknowledged by the business
community and one which will be worth much more than the paper it is inked on…if
the university that issues is worthy, as well.
